Community Outreach Liaison
The Land Alliance attends and organizes several educational and fundraising events throughout the year. We need ambassadors who are willing to help share our mission and goals by distributing marketing and promotional information, making educational presentations to small groups or contacting local political officials. We also need volunteers to help organize and facilitate our fundraising events.
If you are interested in working alongside staff to help conduct online research, organize files, assist with bulk mailings or perform data entry, please join the Land Alliance team as an Office Assistant. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
If you’re passionate about botany, ponds and woodlands exploration, investigating specific wildlife and plants, then let us know – because we’re looking for experts in these fields. We need educators to guide nature walks at local preserves and parks to help children and adults gain a better understanding of and respect for the natural world. Previous experience, whether it be teaching or personal experience, is required for this position.
Whether you’re an amateur or professional photographer, here’s your chance to gain valuable experience or increase your photo library by capturing extensive images which can be featured on our website in our publications and on other printed materials. Photographers must have their own equipment and be able to deliver images in high-resolution digital format.
The Land Alliance is delighted to collaborate with community-minded businesses and groups of all sizes that have an interest in sharing their time and expertise to help us to preserve the natural areas in our communities while engaging their employees and youth.
North Shore Land Alliance has volunteer opportunities for high school and college students.
