MUTTONTOWN PRESERVE/BILL PATERSON NATURE CENTER

DIRECTIONS

The Preserve/Nature Center entrance is just southwest of the intersection of Routes 106 and 25A.

• Long Island Expressway to Exit 41N/Route 106 North
• 106 North to Route 25A/North Hempstead Turnpike
• Left on 25A to first left (between East Norwich Pancake House and gas station)
• Turn left (south) here, cross 25A, and continue south along Muttontown Lane
• Enter Preserve
• When you arrive at a fork with a sign directing to Chelsea Mansion, bear left along the other side of the fork to go to Bill Paterson Nature Center
• Park in the parking area outside the Nature Center and go inside for the start of the program.

Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery

From Points West:
1. Take Northern State parkway east to Exit 35 North (Rte 106-107) OR the Long Island Expressway (495) east to Exit 41 North (Rte 106-107)
2. Go one mile and take right fork which is Rte 106 North.
3. Go three(3) miles to Rte 25A, make right to head east Hatchery is four(4) miles down road on right side.

From Points Southwest
1. Take Meadowbrook Parkway OR Wantagh Parkway North to Northern State Parkway East to Exit 35 North (Rte 106-107).
2. Go one mile and take right fork which is Rte 106 North.
3. Go three(3) miles to Rte 25A, make right to head east Hatchery is four(4) miles down road on right side.

From Points East:
1. Take the Long Island Expressway (495) west to Exit 49 North (Rte 110).
2. Left on Main Street in Huntington which is Rte 25A.
3. Follow Rte 25A until it crosses Rte 108. Bear to the Right on 25A. Hatchery will be a few hundred feet on your left.

From the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway (135):
1. Go to Exit 14E Jericho Turnpike East.
2. At third traffic light, turn left onto Southwoods Road to the end.
3. Turn right onto Cold Spring Road.
4. Bear right onto Rte 25A. Hatchery is 3/4 mile down hill on right.

From Woodbury Road North of Jericho Turnpike
1. Take Woodbury to Rte 108 (Cold Spring Harbor R. R. station on right).
2. Take a left onto Rte 108 (Harbor Road).
3. Take a left at end of Rte 108.
4. Take a left onto Rte 25A. Hatchery will be on left.
