Fly Fishing in Montana for Two on the
Blackfoot River with PRO
Outfitters
Voted
"ORVIS Expedition of the Year"
Enjoy
three days of unparalleled fly fishing on the Blackfoot
River and four nights of “camping in style” at the
North Fork Crossing Fishing Lodge built in 1997.
Robert Redford’s movie, A River Runs Through It,
was filmed in this secluded little valley of its own.
The fabled Big Blackfoot
River has wild Westslope Cutthroat, Bull Trout, browns and
rainbow and is beautiful beyond belief…and always will
be thanks to the conservation efforts of Fred Danforth,
the Boedeckers, The Nature Conservancy and the Montana
Land Reliance.
After a successful career in private
equity investing, Fred Danforth followed his passion for
fly fishing to the West and partnered with Paul Roos
Outfitters to develop the North Fork Crossing Lodge. He
soon learned the quality of his investment was dependent
upon the quality of the tributaries feeding into the
River and embarked upon a very important conservation
project to protect thousands of acres of watershed.
The lucky winners of this trip,
accompanied by private guide, will be invited to fish
some of those private, protected streams. Exceptional
birding opportunities as well as tours of private
conservation lands are also available to the lucky
winner.
Dates to be mutually agreed upon.
Transportation not included. |
