About the game of polo
A games is 6 chukkas or periods each timed to last 7 minutes.  A polo field is 300 yards long and 160 yards wide.  There are 4 players on each team.  They are called No. 1, a forward and the team member most likely to score goals,  No. 2, also a forward (and covering the opposing team's No. 3), and No. 3, generally the best player on the team, and No. 4, the last in line of defense.
For more information contact Carol Schmidlapp at 516-626-0908. Directions to Meadowbrook Polo Fields
